My passion for working with seniors was inspired by my experiences with my grandmother as a child, growing up in Kansas. With over 30 years of Health Care experience, I started my career in a long term health care facility in 1975, working in dining services as a dishwasher; then from dietary aide to cook to Supervisor of Dining Services. From Dining Services, I went to Nursing Services as an Orderly, eventually working my way up to becoming a Surgical Tech.

I attended Kansas University and transferred to Roger Williams College in Rhode Island, majoring in Business Administration focusing on Health Care Administration. While in college, I worked as a Director of Admissions and an Assistant Administrator. After completing my education, I became licensed as a Health Care Administrator and I currently hold licenses in Florida, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I came to Sabal Palms in March of 2003, and I am proud to be a member of The Goodman Group organization.
