I was born in Boyton Beach, Florida, and raised on Longboat Key in Florida. I attended Jacksonville State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Physical Education. While attending college, I was a member of the university’s 300 member marching band, and continue to have a passion for music.

After graduating in 1991, I worked closely with the Special Olympics, implementing programs for the head-injured, mentally challenged adults. I have been an Activities Director for the past 15 years and have a true passion for the elderly that continues to grow.
