I was born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I attended Northeastern University in Boston for two years, where I was enrolled in the pre-med program. Realizing medicine was not my area of interest, I switched my major and started working at Dunkin Donuts, thus beginning my 25 year food service career.

While working at Dunkin Donuts, I received my Associates degree in Business Management. I moved to Largo in 2001 and stated working at Sabal Palms in January 2003. I earned a Certified Dietary Managers degree at Auburn University in 2007.
